This Privacy Policy describes how Bridgent Academy, LLC (“Bridgent Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit https://www.bridgentacademy.com (the “Site”), contact us, or use our services. We provide educator training, workshops, and consulting services for CTE, healthcare, and K–12 audiences.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Site and any related pages we control (e.g., landing pages, forms, or scheduling widgets embedded on the Site). It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control (e.g., Zoom, Calendly, LinkedIn, Facebook).
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Information you provide directly
- Contact & inquiry data: name, email, phone, organization, role/title, and the content of your message.
- Consultation/scheduling data: preferred times, goals, project details (via our forms or scheduling tools).
- Account/course enrollment data (if enabled in the future): login, name, email, profile fields, progress data.
- Billing (if enabled in the future): billing name, email, address, and limited transaction details processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Feedback & surveys: responses to polls, surveys, testimonials (with consent).
- Files & uploads (if you choose to share): documents, spreadsheets, or other files you submit.
- Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.
- Cookies & similar technologies: see Section 8 (Cookies & analytics).
- Server & security logs: basic technical logs used to operate and secure the Site (e.g., firewall and caching logs).
- Information from third parties
- Analytics & advertising partners: aggregated traffic and usage insights from Google Analytics (GA4).
- Scheduling & meeting tools (if enabled in the future): information necessary to coordinate consultations (e.g., names and email addresses from Calendly/Zoom).
- Email service provider: subscription status and email engagement metrics (opens/clicks).
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise health or student data) via the Site. Please avoid submitting such data through contact forms.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Schedule and deliver consultations, workshops, or webinars
- Send service-related communications (e.g., confirmations, updates)

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our servers and many of our service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. where laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
- Contact inquiries: up to 24 months after last interaction
- Analytics data: per Google Analytics retention settings in aggregated or de‑identified form
- Security logs: 90 days unless longer needed for investigations
8. Cookies & Analytics
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and analyze traffic. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and (where available) our on‑site cookie banner or preferences tool.
Types of cookies we may use:

Google Analytics (GA4)
We use GA4 to understand Site usage. GA4 may set cookies or read device identifiers. GA4 provides aggregated reports and does not provide us with your precise identity. You can opt out via your browser’s Google Analytics opt‑out add‑on or our cookie settings (where available).
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Where legally required, we will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opt‑out of sale/sharing if we engage in such activities (we currently do not).

- Email marketing: unsubscribe using the link in the email or contact us at doug@bridgentacademy.com.
- Cookies: adjust your browser settings or use our cookie preferences tool (if available on the Site).
- Access, correction, deletion: see Section 10 (Your rights) to submit a request.
10. Your Rights
Your privacy rights depend on your location. Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EEA/UK) or attorney general (U.S. states)
California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell/share), as well as the right to limit use of sensitive information (we do not use sensitive information for inferring characteristics). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise rights, email doug@bridgentacademy.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and include your full name, email address, residence (state/country), and the right(s) you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our Site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or a higher age where required by law). If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact doug@bridgentacademy.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), role‑based access, and security monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing information online.
13. Third‑Party Services We Use
- Hosting & infrastructure: Hostinger; caching and firewall tools (e.g., LiteSpeed Cache)
- Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4)
- Forms: WordPress forms plugin (e.g., Fluent Forms)
- Scheduling/meetings (if enabled in the future): Calendly, Zoom
Each provider processes data according to its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement (DPA) with us.
14. Links to Other Websites
Our Site may contain links to third‑party websites or social media. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, services, or legal requirements. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted or otherwise communicated where appropriate.
